iOS Setup Guide

To use SMARTL-HIDY on your iOS device with full security and PWA features, you'll need to install and trust our certificate authority. This ensures secure communication with your home automation system.

Download SMARTL CA Certificate

Required for secure iOS PWA functionality

Download SMARTL_CA.cer

Step 1: Download the Certificate

Click the download button above to save the SMARTL_CA.cer file to your iOS device.

💡 Tip: You can download directly on your iPhone/iPad using Safari, or email the file to yourself.

Step 2: Install the Certificate

1.Tap the downloaded certificate file (SMARTL_CA.cer)
2.Your device will automatically open Settings and show "Profile Downloaded"
3.Tap "Install" in the top-right corner
4.Enter your device passcode when prompted
5.Tap "Install" again to confirm
6.Tap "Done" when installation is complete

Step 3: Enable Trust (Important!)

⚠️ This step is required for SMARTL-HIDY to work properly on your device.

1.Go to Settings → General → About
2.Scroll down and tap "Certificate Trust Settings"
3.Find "SMARTL by VIRTUALHI" in the list
4.Toggle the switch to ON (it will turn green)
5.Tap "Continue" to confirm

Step 4: You're Ready!

Your iOS device is now configured to work securely with SMARTL-HIDY. You can now:

  • •Install SMARTL-HIDY as a PWA on your home screen
  • •Enjoy secure, real-time control of your smart home
